Support the Better OS
Okay, if Windows is so great, why is it just a reversed copy of the Mac (menu down instead of up, desktop items on the left insead of on the right, etc.), complete with bugs, difficulties and inconsistencies? Don't e-mail me your opinion of the Mac. It's the standard for my industry, so I couldn't change even if I wanted to. You're entitled to your opinion. Just skip these links.

Eureka! and Why the Eggs?
Eureka! is the semi-secret link to my personal pages. The only other way to reach it from this site is to click on the cracking cosmic egg on my homepage. Eureka! is where I let my hair down - graphically, personally, opinion-wise, etc. This is where you'll find just about everything you didn't want to know about me -- family, friends, special interests, pictures of my cats. Basically, although my front pages are geared toward my graphic design business and potential corporate customers, once you enter Eureka!, I no longer care what you think. I'm just a designer having fun.
Why the egg? My maiden name is Egbert -- which everybody always tried to spell with two g's. After a while, I got tired of trying to fight it, and when it came time to develop a logo of my own, well, the natural thing followed. In the long run, it's kind of grown on me. The cosmic egg, the birth of potential, the growth of an idea, the hidden revealed, 255 miligrams of cholesterol and 5 grams of fat. It's eggactly what I was looking for.
