PORTFOLIO: Web Sites

Following is a partial list of Web sites I have created. The designs range from low-end, billboard-style sites with conventional graphics, to high-end carefully crafted and customized sites for the the client with more complex needs. In all cases, I have used a style which is compatible with the client's requirements and budget.
In all cases I was responsible for the initial flash page, as well as all subsequent pages under the same URL.
Be sure to check back with this page again. It will be updated regularly as new sites are compelted. If you would like any additional information or have any questions, please contact me now.

Maritime Homes and Development, Inc.
Maritime Homes is a direct link to a site which I currently maintain. It is large and complex, including tours of two custom homes.

SpinNC.org
SpinNC.Org is southeast North Carolina's community-based information network established through a public/private partnership to help people gather and share information. Postings to the site can be made by individuals and organizations in a number of comprehensive catagories. It offers information access to the community on a scale not seen before.

The Graystone Inn
The Graystone Inn is one of Wilmington, NC's premier bed and breakfasts, a historic landmark and one of the city's most elegant structures. The site provides a tour of the Inn's rooms, beautifully appointed with period antiques, as well as descriptions of offered services.

George Lithograph
Clicking on this link will bring you to a clone of George Lithograph's site. This client hired me to create the overall concept and all necessary art. I was responsible for the design of the flash page, the three main pages which fall below it and for templates for subsequent pages. They have a Webmaster at their location who is responsible for fleshing out and maintaining the site. This means a significant effort on his behalf and I am reluctant to take credit for his talent and input. I have, therefore, presented the original product for your review, as submitted to George Lithograph, complete with inactive links and template pages.

The Wilmington Racial Massacre and Coup of 1898
This site relates to the book We Have Taken A City, by Dr. H. Leon Prather, about Wilmington's three days of racial violence in November of 1898.

Dudley -- Puppy Extrordinare
Okay, so I just couldn't stop myself. We have a new puppy and this is his Web site. I think it came out well.

River Island Homes
River Island's site was created as a billboard-style site to promote an exclusive, luxury home development in Wilmington, NC.

Maxi's Mates
I designed this wacky little site for a home-based pet sitting service. The site is active as it now stands. The client has not yet provided the necessary information to complete it.

John Stike, Realtor
This site was created for a Wilmington, NC realtor.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Burgaw, NC
Created for St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Burgaw, NC, this site was designed to be simple and, since it will be maintained by the client, easily altered.

Division for Public Service and Extended Education, UNCW
At the time this large and extensive site was created, I was site-webmaster for this division at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. This site originally consisted of approximately 18 sub-sites and only a few are listed below. Since the original site is now being managed and altered by their current site-webmaster, all the links below will take you to screen-shots of the original sub-site homepages. Unfortunately several interesting slide shows and animation sequences cannot be viewed as intended.
